CUSTOM ORDER PROCESS
Read this guide to better understand the process to ordering a custom metal project.
CONTACT
This is where it all starts, with you giving us a call or sending us a Contact Form. Don’t worry– we are nice folks, and we are happy to figure out the details of your project, no matter how big or small. We may ask for photos, drawings, or measurements to help us get on your page about your project.
DESIGN
We can build what you are dreaming. But sometimes it takes a little bit of back-and-forth to make sure that everything will work and look just the way you are hoping. We are skilled in creating detailed drawings, mock-ups, renderings, and/or samples to focus the project. Check out our Design Gallery to see some of our work here.
QUOTE & SCHEDULING
We wish we could give our work away. But tacos aren’t free, so we have to figure out how much each project will cost. After the design is boiled down, we can quote the cost of materials, labor, and installation. We then require a deposit of 50% to get your project in queue on our schedule.
FABRICATION
Now it’s time for the fun stuff! Once your project comes up in our schedule, we can start fabrication work. We are able to conquer just about any metal fabrication methods needed to make the project a reality. MetalWork Austin’s attention to detail and quality shines through in every project we work on, no matter the size.
INSTALLATION
If we build it, we can install it. MetalWork Austin is efficient and conscientious when it comes to installing projects that we build. You can rest assured that the installation process will go as smoothly as possible when we are on board. Of course, delivery and pickup options are available, as well.
